Press Release: Ecofair 2024 Public Lecture at UPNVY Features Experts in Fiscal Policy and Digital Marketing

More than 150 participants attended the 2024 Ecofair Public Lecture organized by the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UPN 'Veteran' Yogyakarta, held in a hybrid format on Thursday (10/24/2024). The event took place in the Seminar Room of the Faculty of Agriculture at UPN 'Veteran' Yogyakarta and was moderated by Afni Sirait, S.E., M.Acc., CMA., C.Ed. (Lecturer in Accounting at UPNVY) and Erena Valentina Ginting (Student of FEB UPNVY).

The public lecture featured two main speakers: Immanuel Bekti Hartanto from the Fiscal Policy Agency of the Indonesian Ministry of Finance and Akhmad Fuad Hasan, a consultant in Business & Digital Marketing, who discussed the theme "Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship through Fiscal Insights."

"In this era of globalization, students need to understand the link between fiscal policy and entrepreneurship as a driver of innovation for future economic growth," said the event chairperson in his opening remarks.

As part of the 2024 Economic Fair, which includes the Public Lecture and Entrepreneurship Week, the event ran from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Participants received various benefits, such as e-certificates, insights into fiscal policy, digital marketing skills for business, door prizes, and networking opportunities. They also engaged in interactive learning through discussions with the speakers.

"We hope that through this event, students can gain a comprehensive understanding of how fiscal policy can support the development of their business ideas to achieve sustainable economic goals," added the organizing committee.

With an interactive approach and in-depth discussions, this public lecture not only served as a platform for sharing knowledge but also acted as a catalyst to ignite students' entrepreneurial spirit, where fiscal insights became the foundation and digital marketing strategies the tools for expanding businesses in the digital era.
