Greetings from the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business

The Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of National Development “Veteran” Yogyakarta are committed to strive, with complete sincerity, to persevere, harmonize, transform, and to apply the spirit of education, research, and community service to the educational scope in which the Faculty of Economics and Business operates, which are imbued with the spirit of culture, values of the Pancasila, and altruistic patriotism.

Founded in the year of 1959 as an educational institution by the soldiers and heroes of the Indonesian revolutionaries who upheld the values of discipline, struggle, creativity, and sincerity to realize the ideals of national development.

As a business-oriented institution which implements the values of Pancasila and patriotism in all conducts of operations, The Faculty of Economics and Business committed to pioneer the agent of change towards the betterment of the Indonesian society and its people, especially in the face of globalization. This commitment as an agents of change is demonstrated through the strengthening of the mettle and character through a system of ardent education based on competency and professionalism which are paramount in the ever changing tide of times.

The faculty and its stakeholders are committed to produce an output fit to serve as a pioneer and model of the society through the constant development of education, research, and service to the community which are driven by the spirit of creativity, inclusivity, innovation, and cultural value by utilizing the advancement of technologies and the active participation of all stakeholders.

These are the spirits which are present in every individual within the Faculty of Economy and Business in University of National Development “Veteran” Yogyakarta. The spirit to always strive forward towards the betterment of all whilst keeping in touch with the national and international awareness.
