Program Initiation: BNSP Banking Management Competency Certification Test for Economics Department Students, Faculty of Economics and Business, UPNVY

On Saturday, October 26, 2024, a total of 40 students from the Undergraduate Program in Development Economics (S1) and the Master’s Program in Economics (S2) at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, participated in the Banking Management Competency Certification test organized by BNSP (National Professional Certification Agency).

The program began with an orientation and training session on Banking Management concepts, held over two days prior to the certification test. This training was delivered by banking practitioners with extensive professional experience in the industry.

After the training and orientation, participants were ready to take the certification test. Those who meet the competency requirements in banking management will receive a Competency Certificate. This certificate can be used when applying for jobs, especially in banking institutions. The certificate serves as a valuable reference and an added advantage for participants, as it signifies their knowledge and understanding of banking management.

For FEB UPNVY, the Banking Competency Certification training by BNSP will continue to be held in subsequent periods to ensure that all students, both undergraduate and graduate, who have an interest in working in the banking sector have a better chance of securing employment in the industry. This certification demonstrates that they possess relevant knowledge and understanding of banking management and organization, as evidenced by the Banking Management Competency Certificate.
