Scholarship Opportunity: "Baznas DIY Year 2025"

The National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta is opening registration for the 2025 BAZNAS DIY Higher Education Scholarship.
This program is intended for undergraduate (S1) students starting from the 6th semester, with the main goal of supporting their continued access to higher education so they can complete their studies on time.

The program provides financial support and mentoring for two semesters, with financial assistance of IDR 3,000,000 (three million rupiahs) per semester. Mentorship will be provided periodically by campus-appointed mentors.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active undergraduate (S1) student

  • Currently in the final semesters (minimum in the 6th semester)

  • Preferably holding a Yogyakarta ID card or residing in Yogyakarta

  • From an economically disadvantaged family, proven by a certificate of financial hardship issued by the local village authority (kelurahan)

  • Not currently receiving any other scholarship

  • Minimum GPA of 3.00

  • Willing to participate in the entire selection process and mentoring activities conducted by BAZNAS DIY

REGISTRATION TIMELINE:

  • Registration: July 1 – 20, 2025

  • Data Verification: July 21 – 24, 2025

  • Interviews: July 24 – 25, 2025
