Rajamin Putra Yordanio, an undergraduate student in Development Economics at UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta, won 3rd place in the UI Essay Competition. This competition was organized by the Economic and Social Research Institute (LPEM) of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at the University of Indonesia, in collaboration with PT. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN).
Rajamin explained that the competition focused on the theme "Indonesia Economy toward Net-Zero Emission: Maintaining Sustainable Transition in Indonesia’s Energy and Transport Sector." The aim of the competition was to raise awareness among students about the challenges in the energy and transport sectors that could hinder the achievement of the NDC target by 2030 and the zero-emission ambition by 2060.
In his essay, Rajamin proposed an innovative idea to transform conventional warehouses into smart warehouses and bring a revolution in industrial automation through the use of Advanced Automated Guided Vehicles (AAGV). This competition provides an opportunity for the younger generation, particularly students, to contribute with creative, innovative, solution-oriented, and applicable ideas to support Indonesia’s transition toward Net-Zero Emission in the energy and transport sectors.
