Press Release: Economic Festival x Economic Fair 2024 - An Awarding and Art Exhibition Event by FEB UPNYK Students

The Faculty of Economics and Business of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta held the Economic Festival x Economic Fair 2024 on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the East Parking Area of the Auditorium. With the theme "Synergy of Creativity and Business: A Festival of Collaboration," this event, which ran from 07:00 to 16:15 WIB, became a special moment that combined appreciation for achievements with students' artistic creativity.

"This awards event is a form of activity aimed at encouraging and appreciating the achievements and creativity of FEB students. The Awarding Program, which we initiated together with HMJ/HMPS FEB, has proven effective in boosting students' motivation to achieve accomplishments," said the Chair of the Economic Festival 2024.

This year's Economic Festival presented several prestigious award categories, including Best Academic Student, Most Talented Student, Most Activist in Social Activities, Best Lecturer, Dean’s Cup Champion, as well as artistic awards in Music, Digital/Manual Drawing, Photography/Videography, and Poetry.

"What makes this year special is that we are offering more comprehensive awards, covering academic achievements to artistic works. This demonstrates FEB's commitment to developing students holistically and reflects the vision of FEB in producing graduates who are not only academically excellent but also possess strong soft skills," added the Chair of the Event.

In addition to the awards and art works, there was also an FEB Art Exhibition throughout the event, showcasing a variety of creative student works. Visitors were also able to create jewelry from Beads DIY, use the Photobox, and enjoy performances from various departments, including traditional and modern dance.

The awards ceremony was closed with a DJ performance, marking the conclusion of the Economic Warehouse Project 2024, which had been ongoing since early October. Supported by prominent sponsors such as:
