Press Release: "FEB UPN Veteran Yogyakarta Students Triumph at Inspire Summit Festival 2025 with Culinary App Innovation"

BANDUNG, February 2025 – Students from Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) have once again achieved national recognition. A team of four students from the Management Department of FEB UPNVY won 1st Place in the Inspire Summit Festival 2025 competition, held from February 14-17, 2025. The outstanding students are Mahda Nur Auliya, Dian Sekar Maria, Angga Putra Dwi Bagaskara, and Yusuf Adi Setiawan.

They competed in the Business Case Competition (BCC) in the culinary sector, presenting an innovation titled Tailored Taste Magical Journey: Elevating Culinary Experiences to Solve Modern Dining Challenges. This concept was realized through the Culinary Connect application, which offers a range of unique features that set it apart from similar apps. Some of its key features include an allergy history filter, a reservation system, and location-based local food recommendations.

The development process, from conceptualization to feature finalization, took approximately four months. Their hard work paid off as they not only secured 1st Place at the Inspire Summit Festival 2025 but also received additional awards for Best Presentation and Best Poster.

For reference, Inspire Summit Festival 2025 is an innovation competition organized by Eduhub Incubator and hosted at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), Bandung, West Java. The event attracted over 300 participants from 55 prestigious universities across Indonesia, all competing to present their best innovations.
